Private Dinner for The Children's Trust - Hampton Court Palace
On 21st June, FoodbyDish had the pleasure of working with The Children's Trust to provide catering services for their fundraising event at the Little Banqueting House at Hampton Court Palace.
Food served on the evening included smoked salmon and golden beetroot tartare apple, Suffolk chicken breast with cannellini bean and baby leek cassoulet, and Stem ginger cheesecake with roast plum and macadamia nut ice cream.
Boasting beautiful views of the River Thames, this private dinner was the first event at Hampton Court Palace that FoodbyDish have catered for since we began working with the stunning venues of Historic Royal Palaces. Such iconic locations include the Tower of London, Kensington Palace, Kew Palace, and Banqueting House.
Angie Turner, Head of Donors at the Children's Trust, provided the following kind words as feedback following the private dinner:
“You truly provided an excellent service with such wonderful food. Our experience has been exceptional from the very first call 6 months before the event to follow up calls and emails afterwards. I have been so impressed by both Ben and Beth and really enjoyed working with them both.
“Every single member of their staff on the day provided an amazing service to our guests. The food on the day was wonderful and so many of our guests feedback positively. "Totally unexpected for a charity event" 'One of the best meals we have had at a charity event'. I was impressed by the attention to detail from horseradish ice cream with the salmon starters to macaroons with our logo on. I can honestly say the vegetarian main course was the best I have ever had at any event ever!”
A particularly moving moment of the evening came after dinner when a speech was given by Alex, a young boy who had a brain injury, and was directly helped by The Children's Trust. He is now studying for his AS levels and received a well deserved standing ovation.
