Food by Dish would like to invite you to meet our new Event Operations Manager, Stephanie Griffiths. Steph, an Aussie native, arrived in London during the summer and soon fell into the loving arms of Dish! Having worked in events for many years, Steph most recently worked at the National Gallery of Victoria based in Melbourne before making the leap across the world. Bringing with her a wealth of knowledge within event management, Steph is keen to make her mark in the London catering market. We asked Stephanie some questions so you can get to know her better-
What excited you about working for Food by Dish?
Being able to work at some incredible iconic venues within London alongside some exceedingly experienced individuals is greatly exciting for me!
What's your favourite Food by Dish meal you've tried so far?
That's incredibly hard to narrow down! It would have to be the 'thai candy floss prawns, roast pepper and raspberry coulis'. It's a fantastic savoury canape to serve all year round and the raspberry coulis gives it an unexpected twist.
What would you have done if you didn't get into events?
Before falling in love with the buzz and excitement of the events industry I was pursuing a career in marketing and public relations. I have completed some short courses over the last few years in marketing and PR. I find it goes hand in hand with events.
Tell us something about yourself which is unexpected?
I have a passion for flying and one day hope to get my pilots licence.
